WWII Victory In Europe Parade Banner And Photo Album

Amazingly rare VE Day Banner which was placed on a parade float to celebrate the death of Hitler and the fall of the Nazis. This banner was hand painted by and the photo album belonged to Hyman F. Kaplan who served in the

China Burma India Theater during the war. Measures about 3×12 feet. You’ll see this is the same banner that is on the parade truck that’s next to the Hitler effigy hanging from a noose. VE parades were occurring all over the world in some capacity to celebrate the death of Hitler, and these stationed troops held their own parade along with the locals they were protecting. Album and banner both included, some amazing historical photos are in there.
