WWII Anti Axis Mussolini Carnival Ball Pitch Game
Description:
From Baraboo Wisconsin when they were cleaning out their old storage in the 90s, this hand painted canvas ball pitch game was used by Ringling Brothers during the war. Customers would throw a ball at him in hopes of getting it in his mouth to win a prize. Circuses and carnivals were allowed to operate during the war as citizens on the homefront needed some sort of amusement, and it was also a good source for war bond sales. One of a kind amazing piece of history. Measures 43×56.5” in the frame, but is a bit wider as the canvas was folded to accommodate the frame. Can be shipped out of the frame if needed. Several grommets along all sides. You will never see another….
